Take some time to visit this page regarding current and long-time health issues that we face with all Collies. Please participate in the studies listed if you can. Rather than continuing to fight 500 individual health battles, we could be 500 strong, fighting one battle together. Breeding healthy Collies should be OUR battle.

Another Collie Club of America National Specialty has now come and gone, but we have some wonderful memories to keep forever. Congratulations to all the winners, and to all that participated in Collies Under the Big Top 2008 at La Cross Wisconsin. This year, Dawn Bromley DVM, Rebecca Czajkowski and I loaded up the van with some very out-of-coat puppies and pulled out all the stops to have the best time ever and we certainly did just that.

The trophy is a perpetual trophy that will be in my possession until the 2009 National when it will then go to the next Rough Brace winner.

This is Pennylane's Sealed With a Kiss (Luv). She had a great time strutting her stuff with the big dogs. She had as much fun as we did.

Introducing NEW Ch. Pennylane's Dream Come True. He is a Percy son and finished exclusively owner handed with his owner Rebecca Czajkowski of Chicago Illinois. New pictures will be posted when received.
This, I am proud to say, is Highcroft Nightline. Visit Koppel's own page and see his pedigree When Koppel turned a year old, he took his first specialty win in Kansas at our third show together. He currently has several champion puppies throughout the country, and several champion and group winning grandchildren. Many finished as puppies and are simply breathtaking. Koppel is the sire to the #1 rough sable collie in Australia, Ch Highcroft Ultimate Suspense. Koppel's producing ability just keeps proving itself more each year, but then, why would that not be the case. His sire (Ch. Highcroft Lode-Ark Ledgend) is THE only rough collie to win the National Breed Club top honors and BOB at Westminster the same year. This dog and his get excel in head detail and balance...he has also been able to improve that in a wide variety of breedings. He is available at stud to approved bitches.

This young blue dog is just my pride and joy. He is sired by Highcroft Nightline. Percy has left us speechless! His first day at the dog show and he wins an impressive 4-point major from the puppy classes. He took his second major from the BBE Class on January 29, in Grayslake IL over specials and his third major in Bloomington summer of 07. We are so very proud of this baby and he is improving with maturity. Percy is a DNA non-Carrier for Gray Collie Syndrome, he is OFA HIPS EXCELLENT, and OFA Thyroid Normal.
Right now he is one single point away from his championship.

This is our newest show dog that we are calling Smudge. She is Percy's sister from a repeat breeding. This picture was taken at her first show being selected RWB to a major. She did a very nice job. Pennylane's Prelude is a full litter sister to the 2007 Open Blue class winner, Spring Creeks Blue Bandit out of Pennylane's Absolutely. Smudge is co-owned with Dawn Bromley, DVM.
