Take some time to visit this page regarding current and long-time health issues that we face with all Collies. Please participate in the studies listed if you can. Rather than continuing to fight 500 individual health battles, we could be 500 strong, fighting one battle together. Breeding healthy Collies should be OUR battle.

Click on this blue banner and you will find the wonderful females that are loved and shown here at Pennylane.
Late 2007-2008 was very hard for us at Pennylane. We lost several of our all-time favorite dogs for a variety of reasons. They are always here for too short a time, but they live on in our memories and in our puppies as their contribution to our breeding programs stay evident over time.
Please visit my new page, to share the memory and the joy of their time with us.
Another Collie Club of America National Specialty has now come and gone, but we have some wonderful memories to keep forever. Congratulations to all the winners, and to all that participated in Collies Under the Big Top 2008 at La Cross Wisconsin. This year, Dawn Bromley DVM, Rebecca Czajkowski and I loaded up the van with some very out-of-coat puppies and pulled out all the stops to have the best time ever and we certainly did just that.

Congratulations to Nancy Nelson in Norwalk CT for finishing her lovely smooth girl, Ch. Pennylane's Bit of Sunshine this year.

This is Ch. Pennylane's Dream Come True. He is a Percy son and finished exclusively owner handed with his owner Rebecca Czajkowski of Chicago Illinois.

This wonderful blue dog is just my pride and joy. He is sired by Highcroft Nightline. Percy has left us speechless! His first day at the dog show and he wins an impressive 4-point major from the puppy classes. He took his second major from the BBE Class on January 29, in Grayslake IL over specials and his third major in Bloomington summer of 07. We are so very proud of this baby and has continued to improve with maturity. After more than a year out of the show circuit due to my back problems, he and I returned this summer for that last single point. On July 5, 2009, at DeKalb Illinois, Percy received the last needed WD and BOW under judge Richard Lashbrook. Percy is a DNA non-Carrier for Gray Collie Syndrome, he is OFA HIPS EXCELLENT, and OFA Thyroid Normal.
